During her period of time ther were two types of writing used, the hieroglyphics and the hieratic. She also started the trading that Egypt had with Africa,Asia, and many of the islands in the Mediterranean Sea including Crete. She was made more popular then ever with the Amen-Re priesthood after bringing Myrrh trees into Egypt.She was also so proud that she had it carved on her temple in Dier-el-Bahri. Hatshepsut had gone so far to be the best for her kingdom that she even wore the false beard that was worn by most pharoahs.
She also had many of the temples that had been decaying over several years restored. During her reign she filled Egypt with many shrines, monuments, and statues. There was also two new obelisks dedicated to Amen-Re.
After 15 years of riegn she died. She was in her early fifties. Her son-in-law, Tuthmosis III, attacked all er monumnts. The only one he left alone was his mother's temple at Dier-el-Bahri. All of her shines to the Egyptian gods had her name etched off of them. No one knew anything about her fo ove 3,300 years
